Our team

Paul Groenland is managing director and founder of Focal Meditech BV. Paul is responsible for the management of the company on major issues such as strategy, policy and development.

Angela is Paul’s right-hand woman. Her broad job function consists of coordination, administrative and secretarial activities.

Luc is responsible for the technical departments within Focal, such as production, assembly and logistics. Luc has been working at Focal for over 10 years and knows all facets of the organisation.

Nicky has been part of the Focal team since 2019. She has a broad background and has responsibility for the business office, the sales and marketing department.

Jan Burgers is a physiotherapist. He is the contact person for the other sales advisers. Jan’s working area is primarily the North of the Netherlands.

Jan Overhuijs is an adaptation technician. His working area lies mainly in Central and Western Netherlands. Head supports is one of Jan’s areas of expertise.

Jeroen Lansbergen is a movement technologist and has extensive experience in the medical aids sector. His working area lies mainly in South-West Netherlands and Flanders.

Michiel Geilen is an occupational therapist. His working area is primarily in the South of the Netherlands. Like his colleagues, Michiel has broad product knowledge and is therefore a true all-rounder.

Jasper Volbeda is a healthcare technologist and advises on the various options for environment controllers. He is also responsible for communication aids.

Lisa is a healthcare technologist and advises on eating devices and social robotics. She is also responsible for marketing activities within Focal.

Thomas is responsible for maintaining existing relationships and expanding the commercial network outside the Netherlands.

Joris van Wees supervises Focal’s service. He plans the indoor and outdoor service and is responsible for the after sales service.

Frank is responsible for the purchase of various materials and articles from external parties and ensures that our stocks are kept up-to-date so that we can deliver quickly.

Jessica is responsible for the financial administration of Focal.

Karen is an administrative and organisational jack-of-all-trades. Karen specialises in exports and provides administrative support to several advisers.

Susan is the first person many customers speak to when they call. Together with Karen she completes the team that takes care of the planning and administration of the advisers.
